A Scallop Edged Candleholder

These beautifully simple, scallop edged candleholders are hand crafted in southern Spain and decorated with a white glaze. They were inspired by a vintage enamel candleholder found in a French fleamarket. The holder measures 17.5cm across the base and holds a standard dinner candle.

Inspired by my love of ceramics and crafts I have teamed up with Spanish makers, based in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, to create a small collection of handmade ceramics including plates, bowls and candlesticks. I’ve known ceramicists Salvador & his wife Toni for 20 years and am delighted launch the first collection this summer.
